VISITATION:  A gathering of friends and family will be held from 4~7 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 at the Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, IL.

CELEBRATION OF ROY LEE’S LIFE will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 28, 2015 at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Oblong, Il with Artie Orndorff and Mike Irvin officiating.  Burial will follow in the Wilkin Cemetery, rural Crawford County, IL.

THE FAMILY REQUEST IN LIEU OF FLOWERS an expression of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to any of the food pantries in Martinsville, Oblong, Casey or Robinson with envelopes at or may be mailed to Pulliam Funeral Home, PO Box 121, Oblong, IL  62449.

Roy Lee Tuttle, 74, Martinsville went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, August 24, 2015.  He was residing at the Casey Health Center in Casey, IL.

Roy Lee was born October 15, 1940 and was the son of William Edward Tuttle and Margaret Louise (Poorman) Tuttle.  On August 5, 1960 he married the love of his life Helen Frances Dunlap.

Roy Lee started out working as a mechanic for the Crawford County Highway Department.  He then became a Bulldozer and heavy equipment operator, digging many ponds.  He was best known for being co-owner, helper and trash burner for “The Moonshine Store”.  Roy Lee was a member of Prairie Grove Baptist Church, attended Annapolis Grade School and graduated from Hutsonville High School Class of 1958.

Roy Lee is survived by his wife Helen Tuttle of Martinsville, IL; two sons Danny Lee and Lisa Tuttle and Mark Allen and Jackie Tuttle both of Casey, IL; four grandsons Josh and Jess Tuttle of Indianapolis, IN, Zack and Jamee Tuttle of Annapolis, IL, Kale Tuttle of St. Louis, MO and Ty Tuttle of Casey, IL; one granddaughter Jade Oatman of Champaign, IL; one brother and sister-in-law Donald and Marlene Tuttle of Clinton, IL; one sister and brother-in-law Mary and Fred Meyers of Sebring, FL; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Roy Lee is preceded in death by his parents and one brother Richard Loren Tuttle.
