Patricia Ann “Pat” Tracy, 81, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, May 8, 2011, at the Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, Illinois. Born on September 30, 1929, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was the daughter of Jesse Earl Sholders and Mary Elmira Johnson. She was a telephone operator in Oblong, Illinois and a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Oblong, Illinois. Her hobbies included quilting, babsitting and camping with Earl.
On May 29, 1947, she married Donald “Earl” Tracy, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2000. Also preceding her in death was her parents, one son, David Earl Tracy; a daughter-in-law, Susan Tracy; a sister: Grace Evelyn Sholders; four brothers-in-law, Paul , Wayne, Clarence and Leroy Tracy and two sisters-in-law, Barbara Tracy and Helen Cruzen.
Pat is survived by one son, William Lee “Bill” Tracy; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sue Stephens and Mary & Tim Carter; six grandchildren, Chris Dedrick, Jason Dedrick, Sara Carter, Audrey (Tracy) Harfield, Eden (Tracy) Doherty and Abigal Tracy; eight great-grandchildren, Traci Dedrick, Lacy Dedrick, K. J. Dedrick, Blaize Dedrick, Zoe Hatfield, Mikelle Dedrick, Regain Dedrick and Myra Dedrick; two great-great-granddaughters, Miley Juliet Kidwell and Madisyn Jane Kidwell; one brother and sister-in-law, William Earl & Beverly Sholders; three sisters-in-law, Dawn Ellen Tracy, Audrey Tracy and Melester Tracy; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bro. Harry Randolph will officiate the funeral service.
