Lulu Catherine Ferguson, 88, Lenexa, Kansas and formerly of the Willow Hill and Ste. Marie area, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2011, at 2:05 p.m. at the Lakeview Village, Lenexa, Kansas.  Born in Willow Hill, Illinois on May 5, 1922, she was the daughter of James Harry Keeler and Anna (Loving) Keeler.  She was a Nurse’s Aid and cook.  She was a member of the Church of Nazarene for nearly 50 years and for the last few years she attended the Willow Hill United Methodist Church.  She was a member of a local writer’s group for many years.

On January 1, 1952, she married Byrl Ivan Griffy, who preceded her in death on November 11,1964; on June 7, 1975, she married Ivan Dale Ferguson, who preceded her in death on July 28, 1978.  Also preceding her in death were her parents; two step-mothers, Mary Shott Vawter & Nellie Fear Miller; a twin sister, Lillie May Keeler; a brother, Richard Grant Keeler and a sister, Ruth Charlene Ray.

Lulu is survived by two sons, Tim Griffy and Neil Griffy; a daughter and son-in-law, Angie & Jack Deisher; a step-son, Dale & Debbie Ferguson; eight grandchildren, Dustin Deisher, Dawn Deisher, Katie & Cory Saylor, David Griffy, Doug Griffy, Shawn Griffy, Melanie Griffy and Meagan Griffy; two step-grandchildren, Marty Ferguson and Mira & Chris Hemrich; two great-grandchildren, Trevor and Caleb; three step-great-grandchildren, Shelby, Shasta & Shania.

Pastor Richard Houser will officiate the funeral service, with burial in the Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois
