Celebration of Linda’s Life Service will be at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday June 4, 2017 at Pulliam Funeral Home Oblong, IL. Burial will follow in the Oblong Cemetery.

Linda L. (Bomer) Rowe, 80, of Mascoutah, IL formerly of Crawford County, IL passed away on Thurdsay May 25, 2017 at Terrace on the Park in Mascoutah, IL.
Linda was born on September 28, 1936 in Hardinville, IL to Jesse L. Bomer and Georgia Blanche (McGovern) Bomer. In 1963 she married James F. Boyd who preceded her in death. In 1983 she married Lee Rowe who also preceded her in death.
Linda worked at Briggs Manufacturing and attended Oblong Schools. Linda definitely had a green thumb when it came to gardening, and enjoyed spending her days outside in her garden. She also loved cats.
Linda is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law James E. and Caren A. Boyd, Brad A. Boyd and Johanna Gregory; one daughter and son-in-law Keeta and Tim Thompson. Linda is also survived by a sister-in-law Beverly Bomer along with three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Preceding Linda in death were her parents, husband, Brothers William, Roger and Robert; sisters Berniece and Patricia; and her daughter Twila R. Hoover.
