It was Judy’s wish to be cremated. A casual graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Sunday September 1, 2019 at the Oblong Cemetery with Bro. Dave Earlewine officiating.
The family requests, that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to the Kid’s Shopping Day (KSD of Lawrence County) or Oblong Children’s Christian Home, and may be mailed to Pulliam Funeral Home P.O. Box 121 Oblong, IL. 62449.
Judith “Judy” Moore, 68, of Oblong, IL formerly of Lawrenceville, IL passed away on Sunday August 18, 2019 at Timber Creek Village in Robinson, IL.
She was born in Crawford County, IL on September 11, 1950 to Noble Ralph Goodwin and Marjorie (Utterback) Goodwin.
Judy worked as a medical technician at Good Samaritan Hospital laboratory in Vincennes, IN for many years, retiring in October of 2017. She was a member of the Central Christian Church in Lawrenceville, where she was the pianist for many years. She was very active in the church and enjoyed helping with any activity that supported them. She attended Oblong Schools and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with at Bachelor’s Degree. Judy moved to Oblong from Lawrenceville in 2018. Judy loved all types of music as well.
She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law David and Sandy Goodwin, Oblong, IL; nieces and nephews Jana and Steve Hanagan, Ballston Lake, NY, Kevin and Tina Goodwin, Frankfort, IL, Brad and Kristina Goodwin, Avon, IN along with several great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by several cousins and friends, special friend Martha “Marty” Kirk.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
