Celebration of Jodi’s Life will be held at 1:00pm Sunday March 4, 2018 at Pulliam Funeral Home Oblong, IL.

Visitation will be from 11:00am  – 1:00pm at the Funeral Home.

Jodi Dawn Denton, 42, of Robinson, IL passed away on Friday February 23, 2018 at her residence in Robinson, IL.

Jodi was born in Robinson, IL on July 8, 1975 to William “Denny” York and Brenda (Schoffstall) O’Dell. On April 20, 2013 she married Michael Denton who survives.

Jodi worked as a medical technician at Lawrence County Hospital in Lawrenceville, IL and part-time at Crawford memorial Hospital. Before that she had worked at Sullivan County Hospital for fifteen years.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oblong and the Oblong High School Class of 1993. She also belonged to Cross Fit Final Call gym in Robinson. She enjoyed music, camping and going to the beach. She had made many trips to the Caribbean.  Jodi especially loved her two dogs Mia and Rex, and her three cats Jasmine, Aphrodite and Shadow.

She is survived by her husband Michael Denton, Robinson, IL; parents William York and Susan, Lawrenceville, IL, Brenda and Roger O’Dell, Robinson, IL; brother Shawn and Angela York, Woodland Park, CO.; niece Katerina Clouthier, Woodland Park, CO; sister-in-law Kim Morrison, Longmont, CO. She is also survived by a special Great Uncle John Poland, Albuquerque, NM.

Jodi was preceded in death by her grandmother Wanda Schoffstall and mother-in-law Shirley Denton.
