Public graveside service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday February 10, 2017 at the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, IL.
There will be No Visitation.

James Keith “Jim”Hawkins, 79, of Flora, IL formerly of Oblong, IL passed away on Saturday February 4, 2017 at his residence in Flora, IL.
Jim was born on March 31, 1937 to Roe Hawkins and Marjorie (Wood) Hawkins.
Jim worked for the Ohio Oil Company in Robinson, IL and for the Railroad in Chicago, IL early in his working career. Jim retired in 1992 after working for the City of Flora for 27 years. Jim was a member of the Oblong High School class of 1955. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and the University of Illinois Fighting Illini.
Jim is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Douglas J. “Doug” and Cindy Hawkins of Oblong, IL; Two daughters and son-in-law; Jamie and Andy McReynolds of Willow Hill, IL and Michelle Hawkins of Flora, IL; Step-children Kim and Kevin VanDyke of Louisville, IL and Scott and Susan Daugherty of Salem, IL. Jim is also survived six grandchildren; Melissa and Macky Collins, Robinson, IL, Amanda and Chris Fox, Hanover, PA, Ross McReynolds, Nashville, TN, Tess McReynolds, Willow Hill, IL, Addison Eade, Flora, IL and Rylan Eade, Flora, IL; eight step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren along with many special friends from Grandma’s Kitchen of Flora, IL.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Robert W. Hawkins.
