Eric Taylor, 54, died Friday, August 7, 2015 at his home in Oblong surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 16, 1960 in Oblong, IL, the son of Arthur Taylor and Betty (Yager) Taylor.
After graduating from Oblong High School in 1978, Eric started working in construction and continued until being diagnosed with cancer in 2012.
Eric is survived by his mother, Betty Taylor, Oblong, IL; a brother and sister-in-law Mark and Marilyn Taylor, Jupiter, FL.; four sisters and brothers-in-law Sherry and Denny Paddick, Oblong, IL; Lynda and Stephen Oliver, O’Fallon, FL; Denise McCleave, Oblong, IL; and Stacey and Cary Elliott, Robinson, IL; along with several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Eric in death was his father, Arthur Taylor in 1992.
