Donna D. Williams, 65, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 11:25 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois.  Born in Robinson, Illinois on February 11, 1947, she was the daughter of Luther Leroy Murphy and Thelma L. (Fuson) Murphy.  She was employed with Ettlebrick Shoe Company, Robinson, Illinois; beautician; and janitor for the First Baptist Church, Oblong, Illinois.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Oblong, Illinois where she was very active and taught Sunday School.  She was a graduate of Colburns Academy of Beauty Culture, Mt. Carmel, Illinois.  She liked doing for other’s; being with people and she loved her family.

On February 14, 1970, she married Kenneth Edward Williams, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2008.  Also preceding her in death by her parents; a brother and sister-in-law, Winfred “Wimp” and Kate Murphy; and a brother-in-law, Darrell Sparks.

Donna is survived by a son, Kenneth Leroy “Kent” Williams; a granddaughter, Ashlei Williams; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Coreta Sparks and Cheryl & Richard Stephens; several nieces and nephews; special friends Melissa Brashear and son Jerry Brashear and one aunt Janet Robertson, California.

Pastor Rusty Morecraft will officiate the funeral service.  Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
