Celebration of Debi’s Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Pulliam Funeral Home Oblong, IL.  Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time.  Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of a contribution to the First Baptist Church of Oblong and can be mailed to Pulliam Funeral Home P.O. Box 121 Oblong, IL 62449.

Deborah Kay “Debi” Wilson, 65, of Oblong, IL passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong, IL.

She was born in Gary, Indiana on February 16, 1954 to Vernard and Mary Audrey (Tipton) Wilson.

Debi worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Ridgeview Care Center and later provided private home care.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Oblong and Served on the Oblong Village Board of Trustees for several years.  Debi enjoyed crocheting and watching her favorite shows.  She also enjoyed watching western movies, especially ones that featured Clint Eastwood and John Wayne.

She is survived by two nephews, Michael “Mike” Staffey, Robinson, IL and Kevin (Jenny) Siminski, Indianapolis, IN; and brother-in-law Eddie Siminski, French Lick, IN; three great nieces and one nephew; Alexis and Gabriel Staffey, Josie and Audrey Siminski.

Preceding her in death were her parents and sisters Carol Staffey and Connie Siminski.
