Billy R. Barnbrook, 60, Oblong, Illinois passed away 9:45 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013, at his residence. Born in Oblong, Illinois on September 10, 1952, he was the son of William Isaac Barnbrook and Ernie Mae (Perrine) Barnbrook. Bill served in the U. S. Army. He was a general construction laborer with Local #1280, Robinson, Illinois. Bill loved to ride his motorcycle, hunting, fishing, gardening, working on cars, being outside and spending time with his many friends and grandchildren.
On August 2, 1974, Bill married Kathy L. Waldrop, who survives. Also surviving is a son and daughter-in-law, Rickey & Erica Barnbrook, two grandchildren, Diamond Barnbrook and Kade Barnbrook; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph & Marianna Shick; several nieces and nephews and a brother-in-law, Alfred & Linda Waldrop.
Preceding Bill is death were his parents; two brothers, Richard & Gene Shick and a brother-in-law, Rickey Allen Waldrop.
Bro. Dee Wolfe will officiate the funeral service. Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
