Susan Renee Wilson, 40, Oblong, Illinois, passed away on Friday February 19, 2010, at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. She was born on November 6, 1969 in Robinson, Illinois and was the daughter of Berl Wayne Wilson and Kathryn (O’Dell) Wilson. Susan worked at E. R. Moore in Newton until it closed and then worked at the Freedom Gas Station until it closed. She graduated from Oblong High School in 1987, was an avid NASCAR fan and loved watching Jeff Gordon. Susan enjoyed shopping, animals, especially dogs. She also enjoyed Country Western music with Garth Brooks being her favorite singer. Susan will be missed by her family and many friends.
 
Susan is survived by a sister and brother-in-law Cheri & Tom Thompson; brother and sister-in-law Randy & Debby Wilson; an Aunt Patty O’Dell; several nieces and nephews also survive.
 
Susan’s parents and a niece Bobby Jo Thompson precede her in death.
 
Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois
