Billy K. Weck, 76, Hardinville, Illinois passed away at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2010, at his residence.  Born in Oblong, Illinois on September 13, 1934, he was the son of William Henry “Willie” Weck and Edith Susan Mann.  He graduated from Oblong High School ~ Class of 1953.  He worked as a farmer, junk dealer, and production worker at Bethlehem Steel, Millwright for U. S. Steel, general foreman for a highway construction company and a farm hand.  He was affiliated with Dogwood Church, White Oak Church and Prior Grove Church, rural Oblong, IL.  He managed a Little League team in Chesterton, Indiana.  His hobbies included fishing, mushroom hunting, coon, pheasant and rabbit hunting, gardening and horse pulling contests.
 
On October 8, 1954, he married Ruth Ann Richart, who survives.  Also surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law, Bryan & Cindy Weck and Larry Weck; two daughters and sons-in-law, Twyla & Bob Littlejohn and Peggy & Terry Zarazee; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Roy & Jo Weck and Robert “Bob” & Donna Weck; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Pauline & Clarence Leffler, Betty Bond, Karen & Bob Diekman and Carol Ann & John Heesman; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim & Nancy Bleil, Lawana Autenrieth, Jim Richart and Phyllis Richart.
 
Billy is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, a stillborn sister, Maxine Weck, Marjorie Jordan & Ethel Baker; one brother, Donald Dean Weck; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Margaret & Clarence “Cap” Richart and one brother-in-law, Ray Richart.
 
Burial will be in the Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, Illinois.
