Owen “Ike” Ikemire
95, Lakeland, FL and formerly of Robinson & Oblong, IL passed away Sunday, April 25, 2010, in Lakeland, FL.

Born in Chinook, MT on September 4, 1914, he was the son of Earl Ikemire and Junie (Dennis) Ikemire. He served with the U. S. Army during W. W. II. He owned and operated Ikemire Pontiac Auto Dealership on North Jefferson Street in Robinson, IL for many years. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Robinson and Ridge Manor, FL.

On December 18, 1939, he married Raedell (Preston) who survives. Also surviving is one brother, Floyd Ikemire; one sister, Kathryn Hall; sister-in-law, Josephine Sloan; a niece, Nancy Woody; a nephew, Mark & Cynthia Ikemire; a great-nephew, Eric & Colleen Ikemire; and several other nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; sister, Irma Padgett; brother-in-law, George Hall Jr. and sister-in-law, Laura Ikemire.

Graveside funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, April 30, 2010, at the Florida National Cemetery near Bushnell, Florida.
