Beverly J. "Jeep" Allen, 74, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 4:15 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL. Born in Terre Haute, IN on March 25, 1936, she was the daughter of Max Fiscus and Greta (Hurst) Fiscus. She graduated from Gerstmeyer High School Class of 1954. Beverly and her husband Jim co-owned & operated Allen's Marathon Station in West Union, IL for many years. She was a member of the West Side Family Worship Center, Robinson, IL; former member Order of Eastern Star, Marshall, IL area. She was learning sign language; enjoyed oil painting, reading books, watching birds especially cardinals. Beverly loved playing with and taking care of her granddaughter, Autumn.

On October 16, 1960, she married James Edward "Jim" Allen, who preceded her in death on October 12, 1986. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one sister, Carolyn Evans and an infant brother.

Beverly is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Karen & Randy Stevenson; one granddaughter, Autumn Rose Stevenson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joann "Jo" & Chet Colter; three nieces and four nephews.
