Margarete J. (Pemberton) Wiseman, 91, Villages of Avon, Avon, Indiana & formerly of Stoy, Illinois passed away at 6:15 a.m. EDT, Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at the Villages of Avon, Avon, Indiana of congestive heart failure. Born on February 24, 1918, in Salem, Ohio, she was the daughter of A. Lindley Pemberton and Louisa (Hampton) Pemberton. She was a homemaker and a mother. Her Church membership was Birthright Quaker, member of the Upper Springfield, Meeting of Friends, Ohio Yearly Meeting, she also was a member of the home extension.

On September 4, 1948, she married Donald M. Wiseman, who preceded her in death on January 7, 2009. Also preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Lawrence & Clarence Pemberton; two sisters, Dorothy Lilly & Bertha Eagleton; and her step-mother, Mary Pemberton.

She is survived by one daughter, Marjorie M. Wiseman, two sisters and brother-in-law, Lorena & Marvin Rutledge and Elma Dixson; one sister-in-law, Gladys Evans; Marty Rainford; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews and friends.

Bro. Rick Catt will officiate the funeral service. Burial will be in Prairie Cemetery, rural Oblong, Illinois.
