Clara Mae Shacklee, 97, Oblong, IL passed away at 5:37 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, IL. Born in Crawford County, IL on August 9, 1911, she was the daughter of James Blaine McIntosh and Maudie Mae Smith. She was an LPN retiring from Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson as a Ward Clerk after seventeen years. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, rural Robinson, IL and she also attended Central United Methodist Church, Oblong. Her hobbies included being an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan, crocheting, needlework, playing the organ and traveling.

In 1930, she married Emery B. Parker, in 1957, she married William "Bill" Shacklee, both preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Bob Lanter; daughter-in-law, Shirley Parker; three grandchildren, Robert, Donald and Douglas Parker; four brothers Ernest, Lloyd, Frank & Lawrence McIntosh; three sisters, Thelma McCall, Bertha Frost and Mary Ryznor; and one granddaughter, Brenda Parker.

She is survived by one son, Ivan G. Parker; one daughter and son-in-law, Wanda & Pete Lansbery; one grandson, Gary & Gwenda Lanter; one granddaughter, Rhonda & Alan Gaddis; two step-grandsons, Jim Lansbery and John Lansbery; four great-grandsons, Braden Lanter, Wilber Witt, Timothy Witt and Anthony Venatta; three great-granddaughters,Nicole, Holly & Joy Gaddis; five great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois.
