Phyllis F. Saulsberry, 73, rural Oblong, Illinois passed away at 9:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009, at her residence. Born June 20, 1935, she was the daughter of Rhoney R. Saulsberry and Helen L. O'Dell Saulsberry. She was employed with the State of Illinois Department of Children's Services, Springfield, Illinois, retiring in 1988. She was a member of the White Oak Church, rural Oblong.

She is survived by cousins, Helen Graham, Marcella Mason, Lafe & Jackie Graham and Don & Susie Graham.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jeannine Marshall; Dave Marshall her brother-in-law and was close to him as any; and several aunts.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
