Pauline Richter, 97, Oblong, Illinois, passed away at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at the Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, Illinois. Born in Oblong, Illinois on August 27, 1912, she was the daughter of George William Freeland and Rea Nona (Coulter) Freeland. She was employed with Toledo University - 10 years; Bowling Green State University - 5 years; owner of a ladies retail clothing store in Toledo, Ohio and she also sold real estate. She was a member of the Oblong First Christian Church; Crawford Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and the 20th Century Club. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert & Diane Richter; one daughter, Barbara J. Herlihy; four grandchildren, Scott & Nicole Herlihy, John Richter, Mark & Nicole Richter and Jennifer Richter. She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Maxine Henry. |
