Freida M. McIntyre, 89, Bowling Green, Kentucky, formerly of Oblong, Illinois died Tuesday December 30, 2008 at the Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She was born April 24, 1919 in Eldorado, Illinois and was the daughter of Lawrence & Maude (Massey) Bourland. On April 14, 1960 she married Creston H. McIntyre, who preceded her in death on October 19, 1986. Freida was a Homemaker and she and Creston moved to Oblong in 1980 from Beloit, Wisconsin. She attended Dogwood – Prairie United Methodist Church and had a great love for her family.

Freida is survived by; Three Step Sons – Earl, Raymond and Dale McIntyre; Three step Daughters – Edith, Christine & Jane McIntyre; Two Special Step Granddaughters Julie Jensen and Donna Johnson; Nephew – David & Frieda Turner; Niece – Karen & Jim Simpson; Four Great Nieces & Nephews – Bradley & Audrey Turner, Samantha & Jeff Wilson, Melissa & Greg Ellis and Benjamin & Kim Simpson; Seven Great-Great Nieces and Nephews and one Cousin – Lorene Russell.

Preceding her in death are her parents; husband; one sister and infant twin brother & sister.

Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery, rural Oblong.
