Anormalee James, 83, Wheeling, IL and formerly of Oblong, IL passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at the Glenbrook Hospital, Glenbrook, IL. Born on July 28, 1925, in West Frankfort, IL she was a foster child of Curtis C. Oursler and Pearl (Jobe) Oursler. She was a graduate of Oblong High School ~ Class of 1944. She was employed with Harmon's Drug Store, Oblong; waitress at Sam Martin's Cafeteria, Oblong; Woods Bakery, Oblong; V. R. Wesson Factory, Waukegan, IL & Alexander's Beauty Shop, Waukegan, IL.

She was a member of the Oblong First Christian Church.

On February 3, 1947, she married Otis E. James, who preceded her in death on February 1, 1992. Also preceding her in death were her parents.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, McLee & Dian James and Mark & Mary Jane James; one daughter and son-in-law, Maril Sue & Raymundo Sanchez; eight grandchildren, Matthew James, Dustin & Julie James, Kelly & Robert Piccolo, Raymundo Sanchez Jr., Cassie Sanchez, Clarissa Sanchez, Alex Sanchez and Benny Sanchez; five great-grandchildren; and one sister and brother-in-law, Theresa & Harry Randolph.

Bro. Harry Randolph will officiate the graveside service at the Oblong Cemetery.
