Wayne L. Donaldson, 73, Paris, IL and formerly of rural Robinson, Illinois passed away at 12:17 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009, at the Twin Lakes Rehab Center, Paris, IL. Born in Crawford County, IL (Hardinville area) on April 5, 1936, he was the son of Guy Donaldson and Blanche (Price) Donaldson Siler. He served with the U. S. Army as a Communications Tech during the Korean Conflict. He was a carpenter with Local 133, Terre Haute, Indiana. He was a member of the Hardinville United Methodist Church, Past President of Local 133 Carpenter's Union; Paris Elks Club; Marshall American Legion Post #90; Robinson Moose; and Hardinville Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, looking for arrowheads and mushroom hunting.

On February 4, 1958, he married Joyce Irene Catt, who preceded him in death on June 27, 1995. On April 21, 1998, he married Joan (Cash) Smitha, who survives. Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David Donaldson & Mary Jo Smith and Bryan and Sherree Donaldson; one daughter and son-in-law, Janice & Bill Mitchell; four step-children, Rita & Jim Hepburn, Vickie & Geoff Wilmoth, Roger & Collen Newheart and Kathy Smitha; 4 grandchildren & 8 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild & 1 step-great-grandchild; one brother and sister-in-law, George & Ellen Donaldson; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary & Harold Wheeler and Norma Ferguson; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife Joyce.

Bro. Jack Cunningham will officiate the funeral service with burial in the Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, Illinois.
