Leonard E. Dickey, 60, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4, 2009 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Born in Zanesville, Ohio on June 30, 1949, he was the son of John Calvin Dickey and Bonnie (Lowrey) Dickey. His hobbies included woodworking and working on cars.

On September 25, 1969, he married Debra Ann McAuley, who survives. Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael & Tammy Dickey and Leon & Angie Dickey; five grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon & David Bayer and Lora & John Haugen; and several nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.

In accordance with Mr. Dickey's wishes he will be cremated following his Funeral Service.
