Velma C. Walters, 85, Robinson, Illinois, passed away at 2:00 a.m. Monday, March 24, 2008, at the Ridgeview Care Center, in Oblong, Illinois. Born in Crawford County, Illinois on December 25, 1922, she was the daughter of Everett Salee and Viola (Walters) Salee. She was a home care giver for several years in Crawford County. She was a member of the Eastern Star.

She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Gary & Kim Walters and Jerry Walters; five grandchildren, Gary Jr. & Beth Walters, Adam Walters, Chris Walters, Nicole Walters and Jerry Lee Walters Jr.; two great-grandchildren, Gary K. Walters III and Levi Inboden; one brother and sister-in-law, Carl & Lois Salee; one sister and brother-in-law, Oma & Bill Berthold; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Ronnie Walters; infant baby girl; one sister: Mary Hoffman; and two brothers, Altas and Eugene Salee.

Cremation will follow the Funeral Service with burial at a later date.
