Tamarah Lynn "Tami" Tracy, 48, Oblong, Illinois passed away Saturday May 10, 2008, at her residence. Born in Sardis, Mississippi on November 9, 1959, she was the daughter of Melvin Hunley and Becky (Schmittler) Hunley. Tami was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Oblong; New Hebron Christian School P.T.O.; Friends of the Oblong Library; involved with the Oblong Children's Christian Home; Graduated from Olney High School - Class of 1977. Tami enjoyed gardening; flowers; photography; arts in general and most of all her children's activities.

On December 17, 1989, she married Kit Tracy, who survives. Also surviving is one son; Brennan Tracy; one daughter, Jade Tracy; her mother, Becky Hunley; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Tim & Stacey Hunley and Tony Hunley; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie Hunley & husband Jim Bingman, Jennifer & Greg Purvis and Cris Ebeling; mother-in-law, Dawn Tracy; two brothers-in-law, Robin & Jan Tracy and Derek & Gina Tracy; one sister-in-law, Deb & Dan Martinie; grandmother, Wilma Schmittler Scott; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Tami is preceded by her father; two infant siblings; and father-in-law, Mervin Wayne Tracy.

Burial will be in Kirk Cemetery, rural Robinson, Illinois.
