Virginia E. Robinson, 92, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong. Born in Oblong on January 8, 1916, she was the daughter of Earnest P. Harmon and Vera Mae (LeFever) Harmon. She was an assistant cashier at the First National Bank in Oblong for 29 years. She was a member of the Oblong First Christian Church. Virginia enjoyed sewing; crocheting; gardening and just being outdoors.

November, 1936, she married Leonard C. "Jigs" Robinson, who passed away on October 17, 1983. Also preceding her in death were her parents.

Virginia is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Sam & Jerry Robinson; two grandchildren, Wes & Gina Robinson and Kris & Jay Ping; five great-grandchildren, Jessica & Kaitlyn Robinson and Eva, Clark & Ellen Ping; and one aunt, Caroline Harmon.

Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
