Norma Gail Mikeworth, 87, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 2:45 p.m. Monday, December 31, 2007, at the Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, Illinois. Born in Crawford County, IL on December 14, 1920, she was the daughter of Loren Thorton and Bessie "Gail" Jacobs. She was a homemaker. Norma was a member of the Oblong First Christian Church; Oblong Ruritan Club and Oblong Gold Wing Motorcycle Club. Her hobbies included sewing and crocheting.

On February 21, 1937, she married Millard M. "Mike" Mikeworth, who preceded her in death on September 9, 1999. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Richard Thorton and Daughter-In-Law Cassie June Mikeworth.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill & Loretta Mikeworth and Jack Mikeworth; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Hazel Osborne; brother-in-law, Russell Mikeworth; nephew, Richard Reel "Bud" Thorton; niece, Norma Richards; several great nieces and nephews; and great aunt-in-law, Eva (Skaggs) Jones.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
