      Connie E. Mayhew, 57, Robinson, Illinois passed away at 3:14 a.m. Sunday May 11, 2008, at her residence following several months of very poor health. Born in Duncanville, Illinois on April 18, 1951, she was the daughter of Clarence E. Lawhead Sr. and Joyce (Beauchamp) Lawhead. She was employed at Tempco Products Co. Robinson, Illinois with 30 years of service retiring early due to health concerns.

      April1969, she married Donald "Dusty" Houser, who preceded her in death on May 25, 1995. November, 1998 she married Leslie G. Mayhew, who survives. Also surviving is one son and daughter-in-law,Ronald & Christina Houser; one daughter, Carol S. Houser; two step-sons, Jamie & Cindy Mayhew and Kenny & Michelle Mayhew; two grandchildren, Andrew Houser & Hydee Houser; seven step-grandchildren, Missy Mayhew, Page Mayhew, Cara Mayhew,Jared Mayhew, Joseph Richardson, Kaitlyn Richardson and Oliver Franklin; one brother and sister-in-law, Michael "Butch" & Pam Lawhead; two sisters and brother-in-law, Cheryl & Rusty Redman and Christi Lawhead; half sister, Sharon & Doug Smith; three brothers-in-law, Buddy "Curly" & Connie Austin, Donnie & Marge Houser and Larry & Sharon Mayhew; sister-in-law, Ruth Reynolds; four brothers-in-law, Lawrence & Nancy Mayhew, Lonnie & Barb Mayhew, Leon Mayhew and Lennie Mayhew; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

      She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter: Madison Houser; sister-in-law: Linda Mayhew; and brother-in-law: Bobby Mayhew.

Burial will be in Watts Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
