Doris L. Lockhart, 80, Robinson, Illinois passed away at 2:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Vincennes, Indiana. Born in Casey, Illinois on March 23, 1928, she was the daughter of Henry Miles Rienbolt and Lola May (Chapman) Rienbolt. She was employed as a nurses aide for years at Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong and the Convalescent Center, Robinson. She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ, Robinson. Doris loved to bake and her family loved her cooking.

On October 2, 1944, she married Ralph A. Lockhart, who preceded her in death on January 9, 1977. Also preceding her in death was her parents; one daughter, Linda Nichols on May 2, 2005; and two sisters, Irene Brandenburg & Pauline Burris.

Doris is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ray & Janet Lockhart and Tony & Lisa Lockhart; five grandchildren, Nathan & Tracy Lockhart, Brian & Michelle Lockhart, Taylor Lockhart, Emily Lockhart and Kim & Joe Hanley; five great-grandchildren, Preston & Sydney Lockhart and Sarah, Elizabeth & Noah Hanley; one brother and sister-in-law, Earl & Gerry Rienbolt; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
