T. Pauline Leckey, 76, Oblong, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at her residence. Born on July 16, 1931, in Robinson, she was the daughter of Harold L. Hamilton and Effie (Tuttle) Hamilton. She was a registered nurse. She worked at the Schmidt Clinic, Robinson; Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville; Allen Sanitarium, Robinson and Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. Pauline was a member of the Oblong First Christian Church and James Halstead Sr. Chapter of DAR.

On March 1, 1952, she married Joseph Leckey, who preceded her in death on November 15, 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond "Ray" Leckey and Wayne "Mac" Leckey; two daughters and son-in-law, Julia Leckey and Amy Jo & Jay Christianson; five grandchildren; two sisters, Charlotta Tarwater and Marcia Gaddis; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, rural Crawford County.
