Glenn L. "Fuzz" Hulen, 83, Oblong,Illinois, passed away at 3:35 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana. Born on October 30, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan he was the son of Charles Clyde Hulen and Beulah J. Valley. Glenn served in the U. S. Navy during W. W. II on the U.S.S. Missouri. He was a farmer; mail carrier for the Vincennes, Indiana Post Office; bus driver & mechanic; repair department of Bryant Chevrolet and many other independent repair shops; latest was at Boruillette & Sons Truck Sales in Vincennes, Indiana. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Oblong; V.F.W. Post #1157 Vincennes, Indiana; past Commander of the Oblong American Legion Post #219; U.S.S. Missouri "63" Association. He enjoyed playing cards, dominoes and fishing.

On October 24, 1965, he married Juanita Ellen Lansbery, who preceded him in death on September 14, 2006. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, Charles Hulen; two sisters, Della Kawzlski and Margaret "Maggie" Cargel; one step son, David Smothers; one step son-in-law, Roger Henry.

Glenn is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl Lynn & Bob Buss; two step-daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon & Charles Salesman and Diana & David Aten; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Mark & Ann Goff; one step-daughter-in-law, Betty Smothers; one son-in-law, Victor McCoy; one grandchild; eleven step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several step grandchildren; two sisters, Rosella Laws and Mary Moore; sister-in-law, Suzy Hulen; brother-in-law, Pete & Wanda Lansbery; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois with full Military Rites conducted by the Oblong American Legion Post #219.
