Jacqueline "Jackie" Dean, 70, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 11:25 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008, at her residence. Born on March 18, 1938, in Salem, Illinois she was the daughter of William Henry Dean and Sarah Isabelle Corrie. Jackie was employed with the Charleston Transitional Facility, Lawrenceville for many years. She attended the Wesleyan Church in Oblong. Jackie lived many years at Pine Lawn Manor, Sumner. On August 23, 2001, she moved into the Range Street CILA in Oblong. Jackie loved children; coloring pictures; collecting photo's of people she knew; playing bingo; going to work; listening to gospel music; receiving cards; visiting with people and going to Church. Jackie insisted on continuing to go to work at CTF to see her friends and family up until her final days.

Jackie is survived by her family of many friends at the Range Street CILA in Oblong, Illinois. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
