Frances O. Craig, 80, Owensboro, KY and formerly of Oblong, passed away at 9:10 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at her son's home in Owensboro, Kentucky. Born January 29, 1928, in Lawrenceville, she was the daughter of J. C. Gilmore and Laura (Wilcox) Gilmore. She was a homemaker. Her church affiliation was with the Owensboro Christian Church and previously with the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Oblong. She enjoyed camping; traveling and crafts.

On November 12, 1948, she married Charles O. Craig, who preceded her in death on February 11, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one infant son, Jonathan Charles Craig; and two sisters, Doris Gilmore and Mildred Gilmore.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Terry & Sharon Craig; three grandchildren, Jarad Craig, Damon Craig and Tara & Brad Garrison; two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Collin Garrison; and two sisters, Fern Holycross and Pauline Reynolds.

Burial will be in Lawrenceville City Cemetery, Lawrenceville, Illinois.
