Adelyne D. Claybaugh, 92, Watauga, TX and formerly of Oblong, IL passed away at 8:20 a.m. at her residence. Born in Blaine Co., Montana on April 29, 1916, she was the daughter of Ira Dennis and Grace (Sparks) Dennis. She worked in the war factories during W.W. II; owned and operated her own beauty shop in Champaign, IL for years; Carle Foundation Hospital Auxiliary, Urbana, IL. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Champaign, IL and Port Lucie, FL #1236.

On July 22, 1944, she married Lewis H. Claybaugh, who preceded her in death on March 3, 1996. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Pat Lynn Claybaugh; two brothers, Fremont & Bill C. Dennis; two sisters, Mary Hirter and Jean Cox.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Shannon Claybaugh; three great-grandchildren, Dakota Austin Barak, Montana Riley Adkins and Arizona Lynn Adkins; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City, Florida.
