RICHARD F. BAY, 66, OBLONG, ILLINOIS

Richard F. Bay, 66, Oblong, passed away at 12:34 a.m. Thursday, October 30, 2008, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, Illinois. Born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin on March 22, 1942, he was the son of Fredrick Lauritz Bay and Lorraine H. (Sampson) Bay. He served with the U. S. Air Force from 1961 - 1965. He was employed with the Crawford County Health Department as an Environmental Health Inspector.

Survivors include his mother, Lorraine Bay; one brother, Jeffrey A. Bay; one sister and brother-in-law, Judith & Ralph Goveia; one nephew, Robert & Jamie Bay; three nieces, Kimberly & Steve Miller, Carrie Malone and Michelle & Anthony Dibona; and seven great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father.

Mr. Bay is to be cremated with a Memorial Service pending.
