Audrey Wilson, 91, Oblong, Illinois passed away at 9:35 p.m. Sunday, December 23, 2007, at the Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong, Illinois. Born January 15, 1916, in Jasper County,Illinois (Yale Area) she was the daughter of William "Ernest" Tipton and Emma Mae (Snider) Tipton. She was employed at Ridgeview Care Center in the Laundry. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Oblong. Her hobbies included embroidering; quilting; gardening; she loved roses & flowers. Audrey was a die hard Cubs fan.

On April 1, 1939, she married Vernard Wilson, who preceded her in death in 1972. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one daughter, Connie Siminski; three brothers: William "Bill" Tipton, Ernest "Junior" Tipton and James Tipton; five sisters: Wilma Wright, Ada Kathryn Woolsey, Wanda Milsap, Nina Smith and Thelma Tipton.

She is survived by two daughters, Debi Wilson and Carol Staffey; one son-in-law, Ed Siminski; two grandsons, Michael Staffey and Kevin & Jenny Siminski; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Staffey and Gabriel Staffey; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois.
