Vivian Mae (Keplinger) Stoltz, 91, Oblong, Illinois & formerly of Landes, Illinois passed away at 8:57 a.m. Thursday, July 19, 2007, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Born July 9, 1916, in Landes, she was the daughter of Rouble Keplinger and Lelah (McPheron) Keplinger. She taught elementary school for 36 years. Marion and Vivian moved to Oblong in 1985. Vivian was a member of the Landes United Methodist Church until 1989, when Marion and Vivian started attending Oblong First Christian Church regularly and faithfully. After Marion's parents died in 1944, Marion's youngest brother: Norman and Marion's sister: Carol, came to live with Marion and Vivian. Both graduated from Bridgeport High School. Carol married Richard Edgington and moved to Montana, she died in 1969. Norman and his wife Darlene (Musgrave) are now retired. Although Norman was her brother-in-law, if she had a son, she would want him to be just like Norman.

On May 14, 1939, Vivian married James Marion Stoltz, they celebrated their 55th anniversary on May 14, 1994. Marion preceded her in death on January 15, 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Herbert & Verna Stoltz and Carol Edgington.

She is suvived by three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Norman & Darlene Stoltz, Selvin & Jean Stoltz and Richard Edgington; several nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as many caring neighbors, friends, former students and special care givers.

Burial is in the Waggoner Cemetery, rural Crawford County, Illinois.
