Molly Shipman, 56, Oblong, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday February 27, 2007 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson. Born July 24, 1950 in Gary, Indiana, she was the daughter of Thomas Roy Rich and Laura Rose (Bond) Rich. She worked for Crawford Electronics, Robinson; Pioneer Labels and was a homemaker. She attended the Hardinville Christian Church. Her hobbies included word puzzles, cards & games, her cat and she loved to visit with friends and family.

On December 22, 1972, she married Daniel L. Shipman, who survives. Also surviving is her father, Thomas Rich; two daughters, Misty Shipman and Christy Shipman; one brother and sister-in-law, Rick & Gina Rich; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Roberta Kay & Jerry Sharrett, Linda & Steve Stewart, Sandy Newman, Patty & Pat King; one sister-in-law, Catherine "Cathy" Rich; grandfather, Oscar Hensley; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death was her mother; one brother, Vernon Rich; nephew, Richard Badger; and two brothers-in-law, Earl Newman and Anthony Wayne Russell.

Burial is in Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, Illinois.
