Frank Seyferth, 82, Stoy, Illinois passed away at 7:18 P.M. Saturday, January 6, 2007, in the Long Term Care Unit of Crawford Memorial Hospital in Robinson, IL. Frank was born in Murphysboro, Illinois on April 18, 1924, he was the son of Frank Seyferth and Myrtle (Tyler) Seyferth. Frank worked at Bradford Supply Company as a machinist and salesman for several years; he also worked for the Illinois Department of Public Health in Edwardsville, Illinois retiring in 1989. Frank was a veteran of WWII serving in the United States Army. He was captured and was a POW in Germany. Frank was a member of the Robinson Elks Lodge #1188 and the National Rifle Association. Frank loved to polish stones and read.

On May 15, 1945, he married Mary (Purcell), who survives. Also surviving is one son and daughter-in-law, Glenn & Marlene Seyferth; one daughter, Pam Bunton; four grandchildren, Chad & Melissa Bunton, Natalie Bunton, Stony & Joni Seyferth and Libby & Chris Nobis. Frank is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Glen Seyferth.

Burial is in Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
