Rev. Delmar T. Redmon, 93, Willow Hill, passed away at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Born February 3, 1914, in Jasper County, he was the son of John Redmon and Lucy (Wall) Redmon. Delmar was a retired Minister of the United Methodist Church from 1952 - 2000 serving many area Churches and numerous ministry duties. He was a member of the Willow Hill United Methodist Church. Delmar enjoyed bowling, playing golf, pitching horseshoes, fishing and water skiing.

Delmar married Anna Mae (Jeffers) in 1934 who preceded him in death in 1976. On December 17, 1977, he married Hazel Jeanetta (White) Shire, who survives. Also surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald & Kay Redmon and Larry Redmon; three step sons, Forrest & Gila Shire, Kenneth & Beth Shire and Paul & Laurie Shire; two step daughters, Barbara & Jack Martin and Gloria & Michael Julius; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents; 1st wife; one son: Tom Redmon; four brothers: Virgil, Don, Doris & Wilson; and one sister, Ina Marguerite Noblett.

Burial is in Mound Cemetery, Rural Willow Hill, Illinois.
