Mary E. (Bush) Hawkins, 86, Oblong, Illinois, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2007 at Northwest Medical Center, Tucson, Arizona. Mary was born in Oblong, Illinois on January 16, 1921 and was the daughter of Arthur Bush and Lucretia (Dedrick) Bush. On November 12, 1945 she married Emmet "Bud" Hawkins who preceded her in death on June 14, 1986. Mary was a homemaker and member of Central Untied Methodist Church in Oblong, IL. She was a life long resident of Oblong, Spent winters in Tucson, Arizona, former pianist at Central United Methodist Church from age 13 – 25, Life Member of the Eastern Star, member of the Crawford County Habitat for Humanity, Volunteer for the American Cancer Society and American Heart Association and a dedicated blood donor.

Mary is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Joe & Barbara Hawkins; 2 daughters and a son-in-law Mary Lou Hawkins and Vickie & Larry Stallard; 2 grandsons Jason and Jonathan Hawkins; a great grandson Nicholas Hawkins; several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Anna Fay Bush.

Her parents; husband; 3 brothers Kenneth, Vernon and Arthur "Jack" Bush Jr; and a sister and brother-in-law Evelyn & Wayne Tobias precede Mary in death.

Burial will be in Oblong Cemetery.
