Tuanette Finney, 93, Pampa, Texas and formerly of Oblong, Illinois, passed away Monday March 5, 2007, in Amarillo, Texas. Born in Oblong, on April 10, 1913, she was the daughter of Lemuel Bailey and Anna Carroll Bailey. She worked at the Robinson Index and later the Kibbie Store and a homemaker. She was a member of the Highland Baptist Church, Pampa, Texas; Esther Sunday School Class; former member of the Seed Chapel United Methodist Church, rural Oblong. She was a resident of Pampa, Texas since 1954. Tuanette loved flowers, working in her flower garden and her friends and family.

On October 3, 1937, she married Warren D. Finney and he preceded her in death in 1985. Also preceding her in death were her parents; and one brother Mervin Bailey in 1994.

Survivors include two sons and brothers-in-law, Ronald & Linda Finney and Alan & Leigh Ann Finney; one daughter, Phyllis & Leo Velasquez; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, two sisters and brother-in-law, Leta & Paul Albert and Mildred Armstrong; one sister-in-law, Monica Harris; one niece and several nephews.

Burial is in Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
