Lily I. Baker 89, Willow Hill, Illinois, passed away at 9:00 P.M. Friday January 5, 2007 at Cotillion Ridge Nursing Center, Robinson, Illinois . Lily was born April 3, 1917 in Jasper County, Illinois near Willow Hill and was the daughter of Harry Alfred Shedlebower and Evalena (Jamison) Shedlebower. On October 23, 1935, she married Wilson Baker, who preceded her in death on August 1, 1989. Lily worked in the Produce Dept. at the Newton Food Center for twenty years and she was also a homemaker. She was a member of White Oak Church and was active in the Jasper County Farm Bureau as well as many church activities. Lily enjoyed music by playing her guitar and piano.

Lily is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Leroy "Keith" & Diane Baker; one daughter Carolyn Joan Dibeasi; seven grandchildren Tami Bryant, Rodney Baker, Sue Bleayert, Sandy Grilly, Charlene Arrigo, Nick Dibeasi and Scott Dibeasi; fourteen great grandchildren; one great great grandson as well as several cousins.

Lily's parents, husband and one brother – Chester Shedlebower preceded her in death.

Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, rural Jasper County, Illinois.
