Patricia A. "Patty" Wright, 69, Sumner, died about 3:15 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2006 at her residence from cancer. Born May 19, 1937, in Lawrenceville, she was the daughter of Perry Hodges and Vesta Props, she was raised by Perry and Daisy (Holmes) Hodges. She was of the Christian faith. Patty's hobbies were art, crafts and her family. She was a member of the Sumner coffee and gossip club.

On July 10,1959, she married Kenneth Wright, who preceded her in death on November 4, 1993. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one granddaughter, Katina Wells and one sister, Mary Bartlett.

Survivors include one son, Donald Gosnell and companion Sue Harrington; three daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Mike Kirkland, Judy and Doug Perry and Sherry Burdett; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick Hodges, Bill & Diane Hodges, David Lindroad and Steve and Sharon Lindroad; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda Kugler, Pam & Glenn Heckler, Joan and Rodney Stevens, Nancy Pemberton and Carol Sizemore; and several nieces and nephews.

Burial is in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
