Paul A. Schlosser, 64, Oblong, Illinois passed away Tuesday May 23, 2006 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. Paul was born in Robinson, Illinois on February 4, 1942 and was the son of Leo C. Schlosser and Juanita (Parrott) Schlosser. Paul married Yvonne Lynn in 1961. He worked for Mahuska Oil Company and then for Marathon Oil Company for over 25 years. Paul was a member of the First Christian Church in Oblong and the Oblong Oil Field Museum & Resource Center. Paul's hobbies included gardening and landscaping.

Paul is survived by his mother, Juanita Schlosser; one son Douglas Schlosser; one daughter and son-in-law, D'Andra & Michael Clark; two grandchildren, Quinlan & Arielle Clark; one brother and sister-in-law, Roy & Florence Schlosser; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna & Mark Jacobs and Linda & Dick McCoy; and several nieces and nephews.

Paul is preceded by his father, Leo C. Schlosser and one nephew, Todd Jacobs.

Burial will be in the Oblong Cemetery, Oblong, Illinois.
