Forrest J. Price, 93, Oblong, died about 7:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the Ridgeview Care Center, Oblong.

Born June 23, 1912, in Porterville, he was the son of Frank Price and Carrie (Lionberger) Price. In December of 1941 Forrest started working for Tidewater Oil Company which later became Getty Oil Company retiring in 1976 as a pumper. He was a member of the Central United Methodist Church, Oblong and the Porterville Masonic Lodge.

On Feb. 6, 1941, he married Freda (Sempsrote), who preceded him in death on May 12, 1989. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Juanita York; two brothers, Pete Price and Wesley Price.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Donna & Richard Condrey; two grandsons, Frank J. Condrey and David Condrey; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim & Reva Price; nieces and nephews.
