or may be mailed to the funeral home. Beulah O'Dell, 89, Stoy, died about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday September 20, 2006, at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson. Born January 11, 1917, in Yale, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Jessie Gilbert and Myrtle (Cornwell) Gilbert. She worked for Ettlebrick Shoe Factory in Robinson and also Victor Dana in Robinson as a gasket sorter and in packaging, retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Stoy Methodist Church. Beulah enjoyed eating out, gardening, mowing her yard and watching over her family. On March 16, 1934, she married Ralph Richard O'Dell who preceded her in death on Nov. 14, 1980. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one great-grandson, Jeremy Heleine; one brother, Garland Gilbert and one sister, Margaret Black. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne & Muriel O'Dell, and Dale & Jane O'Dell; one daughter and son-in-law, Norma & Russell Inboden; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and several nieces and nephews. Burial is in Mound Cemetery, Rural Willow Hill, Illinois. |
