Imogene McCormick, 81, Robinson, Illinois and formerly of rural Oblong, Illinois passed away Monday, February 20, 2006 at Crawford Memorial Hospital, Robinson, Illinois. Imogene was born February 2, 1925 in Crawford County, Illinois and was the daughter of Lee R. and Edith (Sholders) Tracy. On October 2, 1968 she married Everett Lee McCormick, and he survives. Imogene was a housewife and homemaker, she also was a seamstress for many people. Imogene was a member of the Prior Grove Church, rural Oblong, Illinois, and also the Oblong American Legion Post #219 Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Oblong High School, Class of 1943. Her hobbies included crocheting, camping, family gatherings and her grandchildren. Surviving Imogene is her husband, Everett; three sons and daughter-in-law, Gary Woolverton, Rick & Beverly Woolverton and Myron Woolverton; six grandchildren, Staci & Dustin Miller, Nikki Woolverton, Jaime Woolverton, Brady Woolverton, Ashley & Charles Roy and Lukas Woolverton; two great-grandchildren, Frankie Miller and Christopher Roy; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman & Vivian Tracy and Paul & Sharon Tracy; one sister and brother-in-law, Elaine & Phil Catt; several nieces and nephews. Preceding Imogene was her parents, one son, Steve Woolverton; two grandchildren, Lacey Marie Woolverton and Matthew Kit Woolverton and one brother Leon Tracy. Burial will be in the Prior Grove Cemetery, Rural Oblong, Illinois. |
