Irma L. Coats, 91, Oblong, Illinois, passed away Wednesday October 4, 2006 at the Lawrence Community Healthcare Center in Bridgeport, Illinois. Irma was born March 5, 1915 in Hardinville, Illinois and was the daughter of Emerson Heck and Lela "Grace" (Taylor) Heck. On September 4, 1943 she married Thomas G. Harkins who preceded her in dealth March 5, 1972. On April 4, 1983 she married Thomas Coats who preceded her in death on July 12, 2002.

Irma was a bookkeeper in Alton, Illinois at a men's clothing store. She was also a bookkeeper at Lakeshore National Bank, Chicago, Illinois. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Oblong, Illinois and Irma loved to travel.

She is survived by nieces and nephews. Her parents and two husbands preceded her in death.

Burial will be in Hardinville Cemetery, Hardinville, Illinois.
