Anton Michael "Tony" Christians, 48, Oblong, died 12:09 A.M. E.S.T., Sunday, December 3, 2006, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana. Born in Killean, Texas on January 23, 1958, he was the son of Veron Christians and Janis (Lindberg) Christians. He was the owner of the Village Tap in Oblong, he also was a mechanical engineer for Halaberton in China before returning to Oblong in 1992. He was a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, Illinois Retail Liquor Association and the Ste. Marie American Legion SAL. Tony enjoyed reading, his dog and his friends.

Tony is survived by his mother, Janis Christians, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded by his father, Vernon and one brother, Rick.

Burial is in Wyoming Cemetery, Paw Paw, Illinois.
